Our Story

In 1948, Andreas Kyriacou immigrated to South Australia from Cyprus with a lifelong dream of owning an olive farm. In 1971, together with this wife, Andreas purchased 20 acres of land in Two Wells, 35km north of Adelaide.

In 1972, they planted 1,200 Verdale olive trees. Today, the farm produces more than 40 tonnes of olives a year and flaunts a Cellar Door hosting monthly cultural events to encourage a sense of community.

Verdale Olive Estate proudly produces organic olives and products authentic to Cypriot cuisine.

Family run and owned, we aim to provide our customers with the best quality olives, olive oil and olive dips. Most of all, we want to expand people’s palates and bring a taste of authentic Cypriot culture to SA.
